Overview of the role:

The York has recently renovated the bar and restaurant attached to the hotel in the heart of Sale. The venue underwent a full refit in 2022 & 2023, installing state-of-the-art equipment and fittings, and everything is brand new! The designer space and facilities are destined to impress even the most travelled patrons.

We are on the lookout for casual bar and waitstaff to join our friendly team and service both the hotel’s guests and the general public to the highest standards. We are also looking for the strongest candidate to lead the Front of House staff.

Successful Applicants must possess the following:

Proven experience in a restaurant/ bar environment
Strong floor skills and table side manner
Keen focus on customer service
Excellent communication skills
Be hands on and possess a positive can do attitude
Self-motivated and willing to learn
Knowledge of food and beverage and an accomplished mixologist in your own right.
